What a day! 

A special shoutout to our amazing volunteers who made it all possible behind the scenes and in the spotlight:

Abir Mahmud Rishad, Nasim Mahmud Akash, Ajay Das, Sohel Hawlader, and Saurav – thank you for your wholehearted dedication in preparing and serving breakfast and lunch, ensuring every guest was taken care of — the entire time putting yourself last. Your selflessness is what made the day feel like home.

Flora Parvin and Porag bhai – we can’t thank you enough for helping with the big, heavy-duty griddles, hauling them to and from the venue like pros.

As always, our heartfelt thanks to our official photographer, Imran Matin — your lens captured the heart and soul of the day. Our entire group counts on you to preserve these cherished memories, and you deliver every time. Everyone, we will be sharing the pictures over the next few days.

To our awesome kids and youth volunteers — thank you for helping with shopping, setup, cleanup, and raffle ticket distribution. Your energy and contribution did not go unnoticed — you were essential to making the day smooth and fun!

And finally — a massive round of applause, love, and admiration for my incredible team. You poured your hearts into every detail, and your bold, fresh ideas (like the Stampede-style freshly made breakfast!) made this picnic stand out. You truly rocked it. 

From early morning pancakes to laughter-filled games and meaningful conversations — this picnic reminded us why the BUETAAC community is so special.

What an incredible night to remember!  

A heartfelt thank you to all 375 guests — 340 BUETians/family and 35 of our very supportive family friends — for making the night so special. A special shout-out to our BUETian friends from Edmonton, as well as those who traveled from Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and British Columbia. Your presence added so much color and energy to the event, making it a true testament to the BUETian spirit!

Our deepest gratitude to our legendary BUETian band, Scarf, whose members flew in from five different parts of North America to be with us. Your enchanting performances left us spellbound—we’re still humming along! 

The countless hours, the late nights and the long hours of preparation and meticulous planning from the team were all worth it when we saw the community come together so joyfully. Your encouragement inspires us to dream even bigger!
